ROGERS, Ark. (January 2019) – Happy Egg Co. is making room for more hens with the farmland expansion in the Ozark region. Happy Egg hens are now raised on 36 different family farms throughout Arkansas and Missouri.

Happy Egg Co. contracts small family farms where the hens are cared for by dedicated farmers and their families. The rolling wooded hills and mild climate make the Ozark region the perfect place to raise the free-est of the free range hens. The Ozark Woodlands also have an abundant fresh water supply and are closer to the grain fields where we source ingredients for the feed.

Happy Egg keeps improving its hens’ welfare including regulating flock sizes, giving longer outdoor access, providing play kits and tree coverage, giving easy access to outdoor watering systems, and ample room for the hens to dust-bathe, forage, exercise, and roam.

Happy Egg Free Range Eggs are large brown, grade A eggs from hens loving life outdoors on over eight acres of pasture. Their feed is a vegetarian, nutrient-rich, all natural and hormone-free, specially formulated diet primarily of premium corn and soy, vitamins and minerals.

Happy Egg Co. offers regular Free-est of the Free Range and Organic Free-est of the Free Range eggs in 18, 12, and 6 count packages. Earlier this year, the company rolled out its Heritage Breed, true blue and chocolate brown speckled shells that feature plump, amber yolks.
